The hospitality practice at Ivy Law covers a vast array of legal services relevant to the sector. Broadly, our scope of work in the hospitality sector includes:

  • Drafting, vetting and negotiation of management services agreements, property development agreements, franchise agreements, license agreements and other ancillary agreements with various hotel owners and management service companies.

  • Providing requisite legal services for hotel pre-opening operations comprising of completion of statutory compliances and the necessary contractual formalities.

  • Restructuring of existing corporate and hospitality service structures by amending agreements such as joint venture agreements, management services agreements, property development agreements and other transactional documents in order to facilitate the business operations of the respective party such as the hotel group or the owners.

  • Advising on disputes arising from franchise agreements, license agreements, management services agreements and other contracts.

  • Conduct title (land), property and statutory legal diligence along with conducting statutory diligence on the requisite business partner.

  • Drafting and issuing notices to contracting parties in breach of contractual obligations, trademark infringement etc.
